In 1987 I got my hands on an Haut-Brion, premier grand cru. It was a little young, but drinkable. It was a decent year for them, not the best but certainly not the worst...I don't remember. I bought it for pennies on the dollar because it was part of a group of items being sold which had been seized from a criminal.

Most expensive, '97 Harlan Estate, $500 a bottle at release. Not the best I've had though. The best would be an '89 Beaucastel CdP, amazing.
