So the price is different in taste?
We are trying to figure what to drink for New Years he said he doesnt like champagne or wine but that probably because he was offered cheap stuff he said it taste like sour grapes so I thought he should try white zinfadel.
We both havent drank anything since we been together for six years and we got to experience what it like to have a buzz. Beer out of question

Ugh. I think White Zin is the Official Red Headed Stepchild of wine, sorry I'm a bit of a wine snob. If you want to try a sweeter wine I'd suggest a Viognier or a Chenin Blanc.
I don't mean this to be a snob, but whenever I drink cheap champagne or sparkling wine, I get a major headache. You can literally give me a blind taste test and I can tell you, based on my neck and head, which was the cheap stuff.
A good champagne, for me, is like a wonderful nice bubbly glass of wine. Not too sweet and not too bitter/sour. It should be light on your palate.

True about White Zin, but many who start there graduate to good wines.

Yeah well your palate matures starting w/ sweet. Viognier and Chenin Blanc are both definitely sweet, but much better than White Zin. I think Gewurztraminer, Reislings, and the like are a little too sweet, *most* of them. I just don't know of any good White Zins.

I prefer a Viognier or a white Bordeaux. Rieslings are just too sweet for my personal taste.
Sunny, since you said you liked White Zin I'm going to go ahead and ASSume you like sweet and fruity . If that is the case I'd recommend you try Moet and Chandon Nectar Imperial. It's excellent.
