I don't think anyone knows for sure. Personally, if I needed to be diagnosed, I would not depend on it. It deals with energy and I think it incorporates aspects of acupuncture and homeopathy and both of those methodologies deserve more study and thought. From personal experience I know that both acupuncture and homeopathy CAN work, in the hands of a really good practitioner and for certain problems. But your question, I wouldn't rely on it although it could be worthy of further study.
