She is doing pretty well, thanks for asking!
She has other issues not related to MS, but as far as the MS is concerned she has resisted the meds that the docs wanted to push on her; has changed her eating habits to a lot healthier food and has started to drink a lot more water (eliminating sodas, etc) She is now 65 and seems no worse off than when she was diagnosed. Frankly, one specialist even told her that she shows no symptoms/signs of MS, but the diagnosis was based on her having "patches" on her brain. So who knows.
Now if she could only lose some weight, she would be so much better off. She has very bad knees and is about 40 (maybe more) lbs overweight; and lives where it snows much of the year so gets little exercise. But all in all, she seems OK for now.
