Im pretty sure there are other legal ways to obtain, as long as you are not an addict buying or someone looking to re sell them for profit, I believe if you are licensed to do some types of 'experimental/ fringe therapy', you can procure drugs like this, but be prepared to prove who you are and what your intent is!!
Its kind of like groups that do studies on these drugs, they are permitted to obtain test samples of the drugs, in order to do this, I may be mistaken on this, but I think they go thru regular supply houses that supply other drugs and chemicals. I used to see a neurologist that did research with illicit drugs (like heroin, meth, cocaine), mainly for big studies on addiction, they obtained these drugs from a regular drug company (one that stocks drugs and chemicals for study purposes), now ,where THOSE companies obtain the street drugs? WHo knows!!
Even the govt itself did experiments on LSD and other Halluc. years ago, if they had a source, chances are its not that difficult to obtain (again, as long as you can prove that you are not going to use or re sell them for profit).
