I wish I had the luxury of ignorance that you possess when you refer to the US as a terrorist nation. With all the respect in the world, I say to you, that a statement like this is spoken from a place of ignorance. You do not know and cannot imagine the hell that it is to live under a regime that is terroristic.

Geopolitical relations are not fair games, but I assure you, the one thing I know is that looking out for one's interest does not a terrorist make.... Has the United States been guilty of acts of violence against innocents? Yes. For profit? Perhaps, but on the whole, this country protects its owns and others.

I come from a country that attacks its own citizens and where the rule of law is nonexistence. I thank my stars every day I live here.

I also know that other world leaders are capable of true, intentional evil against their own mother if it will get them rich and powerful. I know it because I have lived it. Once you see that kind of behavior, you recognize that a sociopath is a sociopath even when they have the fanciest of titles. That's when you realize that diplomacy only goes so far.

That is the case right now with Putin. That is the case right now in others places where people are not free, are not protected and they live in a kleptocracy that masquerades as socialism or whatever. Then we idiotic Americans buy what they are selling "freely elected" about people who stole elections and "democratic" when the whole thing is not only rigged, but obviously and brazenly so.....

When people here talk about corruption in the government, I laugh. I have no tolerance for it, nor should any of us, but for the most part, people here can rely on government enough to trust free elections etc. We do not know how good we have it--that's why so many people come here.

Don't like it? GO live in the Ukraine--I bet people would trade places in a hurry.

The US is complicated. Yes we do give a lot in foreign aid and do some good things, but it comes with a M16 and a Christian bible in hand.

Watch some of the video from "Confession of an Economic Hitmain" first hand evidence of the thuggery the US engages in day to day. He was sent by the CIA to tell leaders to leave nice, when they didn't the CIA helped them explain the siuation.

Confessions of an Economic Hit Man: How the U.S. Uses Globalization to Cheat Poor Countries Out of Trillions | Democracy Now!

The same CIA that actively imported Cocaine to the US to support the Iran Contra Scam. If you are willing to keep an open mind watch "How to Make Money Selling Drugs" won Tribeca BTW. Rick Ross talks in detail about how he became the Crack Kingpin of the US with the help of CriminalsInAction.

'Bush, Reagan let drugs flow free to US from Nicaragua' - ex-dealer - YouTube

See they can't kill and control the world with their paltry some from Congress. They need more funding, selling coke, to topple more governments under the guise of "freedom".

Oh that's right you heard that same "freedom" being used to cover up our clusterf*ck in Iraq. No WMD, we knew that, so now we are about freedom. BS we are about setting up shop and never leaving, never. Because there is oil. Syria who gives a **** about a country with no oil, not the US. Afganistan has been found to have the largest deposit of Lithium in the world, think renewable batteries, we will never leave there either.

In fact, what countries have the US left since the invaded??????????????? Grenada, wow that was impressive. Still in Germany, Korea, and Japan too.

Yes the US does some great things, but Amerika has a lot of blood on her hands.

I'm willing to bet the NSA, FBI, and CIA has the life of every single person posting in this thread entirely figured out by now. Don't be surprised if on your next trip abroad things take longer than usual for you. LOL

I'm from America, born and raised, but America is a terrorist nation. Whether or not people want to believe it, it's true.

America has done so many horrible things in its history and it's so obvious why other conuntries hate us.

One of the many things America did was bomb innocent people in Japan that had nothing to do with Pearl Harbor. That's so disgusting. We killed millions of innocent men, women and children that had absolutely nothing to do with Pearl Harbor at all. Also, we held innocent Japenese people in camps for absolutely no reason. The American government is no different than hitler.

So would you agree that America is a racist terrorst nation and this country isn't as good as some people think it is?
Wow, it is always nice to be the Monday morning quarterback especially when it is more than 65 years after the fact.

Since you bring up the specific case of Truman's decision to nuke two Japanese cities let's compare the US government of the time to the Japanese government.

The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki is estimated to have killed about 300,000 civilians. That is horrific by today's standards. But one needs to recognize that between 1937 and 1945 the Japanese military is estimated to have killed between 6 million to 11 million civilians in Asia. Some have called it the Asian holocaust.

World War II casualties - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Japanese war crimes - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Truman was looking for the quickest way to end the war at the least cost to the US/Allies. That is how warfare works.

So do you think the US should have done a land invasion of Japan and let the Japanese government continue to kill/rape innocent civilians in other Asian nations? How many more civilians in other countries would have died? These are questions you must ask before calling Harry Truman a terrrorist.

They deserved what they got, but not for attacking the U.S., but for the millions of innocent Chinese they had killed. Call it a favor for China!

But let's not forget, who armed Japan, in the first place! The U.S. was trying hard to recover from the Great Depression, and given how desperate we were, we would sold arms to the Devil himself! We knew of the Japanese atrocities, what they were up to, all during the 30's, but we continued to arm them, all for the sake of profits!

And, we were on an anti-communist roll! All were good guys to us, as long as they opposed Communism!

It's the state-sponsored terrorism, funded/directed by the U.S., that frightens me even more!

Yes, you can keep your hands clean, by merely writing out checks!

You know there is one thing, nothing is keeping anyone here who doesn't want to be here. There are no guards shooting you if you try and leave, no barbed wire to climb through, no walls to try and climb over. You don't have to escape soldered in the framework of a car (as someone I know had to do several years ago to escape Romania).

Personally, I will probably retire to either Europe or latin America. And I am thankful that I have the freedom to make that choice. I don't like much of what the US is becoming but it is far from a terrorist nation.
