Coastal Spanish cities often have a seaside drive, usually referred to as malecon or rambla, that often becomes a place to see and be seen. This tradition was also applied in many coastal cities in Spanish America and they become giant socialization places during festivities and/or the weekend. Considering the large number of cities with seaside drives, I will only post the most well known. People are allowed to vote for multiple choices, because sometimes it may be hard to choose one from several that may appeal to you.
My vote goes to Santo Domingo and Panama. There are other cities in Colombia and Mexico that have nice seaside drives. I thought Guayaquil was on a river not directly on the coast?

You're right.
My home city, Santiago de Guayaquil, it's located on the west bank of the Guayas river which flows into the Pacific Ocean at the Gulf of Guayaquil.
River/seaside/ocean location perhaps?
What about coastal cities in Colombia like Cartagena, Barranquilla and Santa Marta?? I looked for a driving videos for those cities and couldnt find any.
Heres one from Veracruz Mexico.
