At 42 million +, it has more than twice the population of Chile (approaching 18 million), more than three times the economic output (909 billion vs 264 billion), higher HDI and GDP per capita.
Mixing up PPA and nominal I see. Well, chile's gdp is then 395billion not 264billion
Brazil today also has a very different feeling after de re-election of the "Presidenta". Some believe in impechmeant, but the fact is that were going cleary down nowdays.

This morning in the remis on the way to my office...I heard on the radio that 2 "motochorros" stopped a guy last night, attacked him, drug him down a side street and broke "4" of the fingers on his right hand I guess by pulling them back as far as they could I guess until they broke...happened only about 8 blocks from where I work...
reminder than South Brazil is richer and more populated than Uruguay.
South Brazil is not a country last I checked.
