Cuba has a similar program of giving migration tips, but the difference is that in this program they explains all the restrictions abd hurdels that the Cuban government itself imposes on its own citizens that want to leave Cuba.
And this show also from Dominican Republic is of the lawyer Yudith Feliz. The topic? How to get a visa to enter the USA legally. Day in, day out; she explains all the strategies for getting a US visa at the US Embassy in Santo Domingo. Unbelivable but it's true. lol
Her main competition is Yadira Morel, who basically was the Dominican lawyer that opened that money making niche after living for many years in the USA as a practicing migration lawyer and then returning to Dominican Republic. The following program she is interviewed by one of the leading female figures in Dominican TV.
I've watched the law show at my parents on occasion. I think it's actually useful and not a bad show. But Dominican tv is pretty bad in general. Lol. It seems trapped in the late 70's/80's to me. Really could use some new people with new ideas and some more variety in the programming.

The host is a man dressed like a woman (he's pretty funny)

Very true. I remember being with an American friend for a weekend in Guanajuato, we were having breakfast at a restaurant and this show was on the air. After five minutes watching it, my friend told me; "Either this guy is paid very little or paid too much, to make a spectacle of himself" lol. We both thought the show was vulgar to say the least.
The exhibition of the Oscar in Brazil was the sensation of TV this week.
Not because of Leonardo DiCaprio, the finally won the statuet.
But because the famous brazilian actress Gloria Pires, that comment the show for the first time, cleary didn't watch the films, looked bored all the time. Really funny!!
