Hmmmm I should say that to the thousands of Colombians living off the Panamanian's people.

2. Mexicans vs Central Americans(in general) - mainly driven by immigration issues and economics and the rivalry is mainly resentment from the Central American side due to mistreatment

3. Mexican Americans vs Puerto Rican Americans - yet another U.S. based rivalry. Both groups tend to talk a lot of smack about each other and have negative stereotypes. There's theories over whether is started from boxing, citizenship, or the fact the PR's have historically been the 2nd most dominant Hispanic group in the U.S. The rivalry doesn't really exist in Mexico or Puerto Rico itself though.

4. Puerto Ricans vs Dominicans - exists in both PR and the Northeast. Mainly driven by immigration issues and "race"(White/Tri-racial PR's looking down on Black/Mulatto Dominicans)

5. Puerto Rican Americans vs Cuban Americans - exists mainly in South Florida. Mainly driven by competition and politics(One group being mostly Republican and the other mainly being Democrat).

6. Dominicans vs Haitians - Mainly driven by historical tension, immigration issues, and "race"(Mulatto/Tri-racial Dominicans looking down on Black Haitians)

7. Salvadorans vs Hondurans - Mainly driven by historical tension(infamous "Football War") and immigration issues(for both sides)

8. Costa Ricans vs Nicaraguans - mainly driven by immigration issues and "race"(Mestizo/White Costa Ricans looking down on more Amerindian looking Nicaraguans)

9. Panama vs Colombia - mainly driven by historical tension

10. Belize vs Guatemala - mainly driven by territorial disputes and immigration issues

11. Colombia vs Venezuela - mainly driven by historical tension(mainly with territory), immigration issues(for both sides), and politics(Socialism vs Capitalism)

12. Chile vs Peru - mainly driven by historical tension(War of the Pacific), territorial disputes, immigration issues, and "race"(Mestizo/White Chileans looking down on Amerindian Peruvians)

13. Chile vs Bolivia - See above

14. Argentina vs Chile - mainly competition over who's the best country in South America and partly immigration

15. Argentina vs Brazil - football....no exaggeration. Also, competition over who's country is better.

These were all the rivalries I heard of and been told about. Certain rivalries(like Mexicans vs Argentinians) seem to be more of an Internet troll sentiment more than an actual rivalry which is why I didn't include them.
Theres not much racial difference between Puerto Ricans and Dominicans trust me, their both largely Mulatto/Triracial, with Dominicans having slightly more African (big emphasis on slightly, it's barely noticable). The 2 groups are practically identical.... The rivalry was mainly based on very slight cultural differences, ignorance, and illegal immigration (DR to PR), immigrants are always picked on in any country you go to.... Now I don't know about Puerto Rico itself, but in most of the Northeast that rivalry has largely died down and the 2 groups get along now and intermingle very very heavily.
