In Spain everyone that got the first dosis with AstraZeneca will get the second dosis with Pfizer. It has been proven that mixing those two is safe and give the same protection, but without the potential side effects of AstraZeneca (especially deadly thrombosis.)
You should consider getting Pfizer for your second shot.
I have been reading mixed messaging about that. I am looking into it. I may have no choice but to do it.

Notice all the women in power plus the painting of a woman in one of the walls of one of the most powerful buildings in the DR. Even in Dominican paper money there are several women on various notes. Traditionally the DR has been a macho country. Things are changing.

Can't go to a vaccine center? No problem. One of the mobile vaccinators going to various businesses and factories to vaccinate all employees crossing a street in Santo Domingo. The DR is one of the few countries where vaccinators also go to people's places of work!
Among Latino countries only Chile and Uruguay have a higher vaccination rate than the DR and among small Latino countries the DR is in second place. Among Spanish-speaking countries worldwide only those two plus Spain have a higher vaccination rate than the DR.

The Chinese are in the American (USA in this case) Territory taking care of Latin AMerica, where all want to be vaccinated and here a good bunch will not care less !!!
And why not. China has benefitted mightily from integration into the global economy and should play a role. The world is no longer just North America and Europe.
And of course its their irresponsibility which got us into this mess in the first place. Denying the existence of a pandemic until they could no longer hide it. And harassing, arresting (and maybe even killing) some early whistle blowers.
Its just how amazingly bad the mainland Latin American countries have handled the disease. Even though the DR did have significant community spread they have handled the vaccination program quite well, especially given that it has a large population. So what happened in these other countries which had higher death rates than the DR?
