Give me a break. Youtube propaganda does not prove anything. Venezuela has been ruled by tyrants for over a decade, stolen the people's rights to change anything at all and stole private property from production... it is a lesson for others in Latin America why you can't just install the person in power who promises to redistribute all of the property in the state and let them cancel elections going forward.

What Venezuela does is nobody else's business. They did not attack any neighbor or whatever.

The video is based on US reports... Things are not propaganda just because you don't like to hear them... To the contrary...

There is a new report on the supposedly humanitarian aid that was rightly blocked by Venezuela in 2019:

If you want to talk about genocide, the anti-mask movement in the States was formed to spread coronavirus to the majority non-white public-facing service workers (restaurant and store workers) and make "America White Again".

Ironically America is now talking about shortages. First it was Lysol, toilet paper, meat and produce last year. This summer the major shortages will be gasoline (like Venezuela), pool chlorine, and lumber.

It's hard to believe that the U.S. is a First World, Developed country these days! It's starting to resemble Venezuela circa 2013.

I would agree with you if it wasn't for this.

A country that before Maduro hardly had its citizens living elsewhere. Now we're talking about millions and counting.

Venezuela is very much affecting its neighbors, particularly Colombia.

It is if the dictators are committing a genocide. It is not "Venezuela" doing. it is people in power there doing, including killing people to stay in power.

What does "Venezuela" mean? Who, exactly?

One group of humans attacked another group of humans, stole their property and distributed the spoils to themselves, bits of which trickled down their otherwise hapless supporters, who are a third (loose) group of humans on that particular territory.

But, yes, I could agree that it is not necessarily the business of any fourth, fifth or other group of humans.

All the best!

I don't get those posts.

There is no genocide in Venezuela. People are insulting the victims of real holocausts when they use that word for totally different things that have nothing to do with genocide. After all, Maduro is himself a typical Venezuelan. Whatever is going on there is politically motivated.
Whether or not Venezuela is a full democracy is none of our business. If Maduro turns the country into a kingdom, it is none of our business, either.

Nor is owning stuff prohibited in Venezuela, never has been.

The current situation in Venezuela has long ceased to be Maduro's fault, it's the West's fault. And in this case it is indeed attempted genocide because the West is not Venezuelan and tries to starve Venezuelans with sanctions and stealing the state's money.

Any time someone like Lenin, Castro, Ho Chi Minh or Chavez come to power it denotes Capitalistic/oligarchic excesses. In effect, it was the rich oligarchs who created these people. If only, if only rather than just throw crumbs to the poor, they had occasionally given them a fresh baked loaf of bread with butter.

What happened in Venezuela, Vietnam, Russia, Cuba was an eventuality.

Many of the poor were malnourished/hungry under the oligarchs in Venezuela, so what they're experiencing today isn't much different.
