How are you using it? Have you used frozen?
I cook for a living and find the frozen an excellent product. I get it in 30# pound cases, cut.
To fry, just thaw with a bit of cornmeal, salt and pepper.
I am making a big old pot of gumbo for Super Bowl at a local dive.
enjoy
Nan

@Dusty-thx dear but i want fresh one so by the time it'll reach it'll not be fresh.

@sailrojo Usually i used it for cooking....but this time I need it for different reason. My hubby is having diabetes so i heard if u drink fresh Okra's soaked water thn it'll immediately go down....Like in India my family member has used it like this....medically not proved but its an ancient therapy,so wanted to try as it has no side effects.
And yes i can tell u a Indian way to cook Okra if u want...

Might want to "grow" your own if you need it that fresh...

Finally, a use for Okra - I knew there had to be one, somewhere... Not really found of it, other than fried, but then again you can eat just about anything fried.

Uh....Yeah! I'd certainly like to have a recipe for Indian Okra, mostly I fry it (Olive Oil) or use it in soups and stews. (where the term "gumbo" came from)

Cinnamon capsules of 1000mg each before or after a meal will do the same...I take 4000mg 3x a day.....BS stays below 115 but I am type II...without Cinnamon caps I run in the 180-250's..
