Small refrigerators, small RV or apartment sized range, on demand hot water heaters and lighting is what we are in the market for. Anyone know if there is a place in the Anchorage area that sell this?

Can't help with specific business, but seeing as no one else responded I can tell you where I would at least look... I am sure you have already thought of this, but here goes:

Wal-Mart or any other store that sells camping supplies should sell at least the propane lighting. I bought a couple of coleman propane lights from Wal-Mart years back in preparation for a hurricane. (seeing as how we can lose power for a month or so after one of those comes rocking ashore)

The other appliances are a bit tougher - but any RV parts/service place should have those. I did a quick search and found a few RV service centers in the Anchorage area, I don't know them or anything about them so I won't post what I found but let your fingers do the walking and call them up. The propane fridge and on demand propane hot water heaters are very typical items in an RV.

If you were in an area where mail order was cost effective and time to ship was reasonable there are plenty of online places to get those things - and I did check for you where I get some of my supplies.

Wish I could be more help...

REI or Sportsman Warehouse will have some stuff.
A & M RV by Merrill Field would be worth checking.

thanks.
Seems Anchorage is just too "City" to have some of this stuff. We last bought interior propane lighting in either Fairbanks or Delta Junction for our cabin. not the camping stuff either.

I'll do some more google and calling around.

Contact a propane dealer. They often can order for you if they don't have in stock.

Seems like Alaska Mining and Diving had propane lights last fall for pretty cheap.
