Personally I wouldn't want any part of this. IMO houses are already too close together. The land is owned by all those who own homes there spells trouble and throw in kids and pets...

The human being and fish can coexist peacefully so I see no reason why human beings can't coexist peacefully with other human beings.

You're welcome bongo. I find the concept odd. Really wondering if it'll work. What if neighbor wants to build something no one likes. Quess I'm territorial..don't want to share my property with others lol.

I shouldn't be in the Alaska forum, but I saw the title and it piqued my interest. Co-housing is gaining slight popularity all over the U.S. and there seem to be some long-term sucessful ones. That said, who knows how many have failed. However, it really is just another variation of a subdivision with a HOA. And lord knows, those have been around for quite awhile.
