Pets mean more wear, tear & damage to a rental. Landlords aren't too excited about that... You'll pay more for having pets, and you'll find many rentals will limit how many pets and how big they can be.

That's discouraging, I only have 1 dog, he weighs between 60-65 lbs. I checked Google and there aren't alot of apartment listings (I know most apartments are pet-friendly) so this may present a problem for me because I am not separating from my baby.

I am living here 2 months now with my husband, coming all the way from Cyprus ( a Greek island ). A big change but Alaska is beautiful. So far very few people I meet... is any women care for some company also just moved here recently?
