Hi!I am a Spanish Modern Foreign Language teacher (Spanish and Tesol) and I am looking for a job in Anchorage or somewhere in Alaska.Does anyone has any idea about where to start lookinig for?

Get in touch with World Languages Department at Anchorage School District. The director of World Languages is:

If you meet certain qualifications, there may even be a $3000 signing bonus!
Signing bonus for World Languages immersion teachers

Effective July 1, 2009

Individuals who are qualified for and hired to fill a position in a world language immersion program will receive a $3,000 signing bonus. Signing bonus would be prorated for less than a 1.0 FTE. The bonuses would be paid during the employees first 30 days of employment and would not be subject to retirement contributions. An employee who failed to complete their contract would be responsible for repaying the entire amount.

larara, if you are interested in Spanish Immersion K-6, Government Hill Elementary School in Anchorage is an excellent school:

With all the illegal mexican aliens in the USA it should not be too difficult finding a teaching spanish job.
