Hi everyone,
I'm looking to camp out for 2 weeks in Arizona, preferably somewhere on the mild or warm side. I'd be leaving this weekend.

Do you have mild or warm winters anywhere?

Any state parks or lands you recommend?

Details:
I am looking for a place with tent camping and access to clean water.

what do you consider mild/warm?

there are many places throughout the state that will still have decent day time temps .... can get a little chilly as the sun goes down though

anything else you are looking to do besides just setup a tent?

Southern AZ will have a freeze during the next two weeks, be careful.

Bad timing, a big winter storm is coming through, the highs in Phoenix will be in the 50's, low 38. Not my idea of good camping weather!

You could look into Lake Pleasant, which has a camp ground that is developed with electric outlets at the sites. I have camped there during the winter and plugged in a space heater for the tent~~although, I think that was probably really dangerous looking back.. They do sell all kinds of tent heaters that are safe now though as I was thinking of an Oak Creek Canyon winter camping trip, in the snow..
Happy camping!

Give us a break, the weather is. We have had enough warm weather this year.

Here is an idea that never works for me but perhaps would for you. Set your tent up situated to get first light and full sun in the morning. Have a nice camp fire and a good time late into the night and the next morning stay in your sleeping bag until the sun rises and the tent is toasty.

My guy and I just camped in AZ and NM for two weeks. There's a state park just outside of Safford (south AZ) that has what you want. It was nearly deserted last week, which is a bonus if you like seclusion. Plus: hot springs!!!
