A report by TransUnion predicts that the rate of mortgage delinquencies will fall more in AZ next year than any other state in 2012. Of course, we have already seen the signs of this in falling notices of trustees sale and dramatic reductions in REO properties on the market. This is just one more sign that the local housing market is on the mend.

Late Arizona mortgage loans may fall in 2012

Finally all those people who couldn't afford their mortgages are renting now because they foreclosed earlier than the most of the country. They can buy another home in 3 or 4 years, one they can afford hopefully.

Its a good, optimistic prediction, but not news since it not based on anything that has actually taken place.

In fact the OP's title:

Mortgage Delinquencies in AZ to drop sharply next year

Is quite different than the actual title of the article in the republic:

Late Arizona mortgage loans may fall in 2012

The OP's title is taken from the first line of the article.

A credit-tracking firm predicts mortgage delinquencies will fall more sharply in Arizona next year than in any other state.

Why not just use the actual headline, instead of taking parts of one sentence and changing it to make a more flamboyant post?

I figure if one needs to make an article sound better than it was intended to be, we still have a long way to go.

This is an internet forum, not a news agency. If a member wants to start a thread to discuss a topic, they are free to choose a title as they see fit. Let's get back to the topic, rather than discussing each other's motives, please.
