Copper, cattle, cotton and citrus!

At least, that's what we're taught in school. In reality, the only one of those naturally occurring in Arizona is copper. Mining has always been a big part of the state's industry.. Most of it being copper. But we also have gold, silver, and gemstone mines.

A lot of the cotton and citrus is gone nowadays. Still big industries. I can remember driving north out of phoenix in the 60s and seeing mile after mile of citrus orchards. The city swallowed them over the years.

Copper, coal, oil, uranium, molybdenum, gold, and silver are all commercially mined here. There's probably others, but those come to mind.

Cattle, Cotton, and Citrus are not natural resources. They are Agricultural products.

Fish are however, and you can find 41 other minerals and gas, oil, and sand/gravel products.

I never did find any Peridot, but I have a nice Fire Agate mine. Precious and semiprecious stones are one of the natural resources available to everyone.
