last night i just missed the newscast on channel 10 about drones in Yavapai county . something about them getting training . training for what ?? are we overrun with illegals here , or training to watch over us ? who's next ? will they be honest with answers or will it be the ever popular "pols speak" about how the drones will be uded to locate some sick childs lost dog or any such silly excuse !!
back in the 60 when the hippies had the saying how they don't trust their government makes me think that it might be coming to pass as true . if the government wanted to protect us then the borders would be first place to do so .

It's just the government conditioning us to drones. Don't worries they are predicting 10-30k patrolling the skies across the US 24/7 government surveillance is here.

There's already cameras all around you. Perhaps you could live in an underground bunker.

//www.city-data.com/forum/arizo...drones-az.html

This is already being discussed, just a few threads below yours.

Like I posted in that forum, "drones" aren't necessarily bad. They have a LOT more uses than just watching people. Certain types of cameras can, for example, detect if crops need more (or less) water, or monitor the spread of a parasite or disease in crops. And that's just some of the agricultural benefits. Drones can also be used to monitor the spread of forest fires, track tagged endangered species in wildlife areas, and even detect illegal narcotic farms. Asides from that, they will also get used along the border, to monitor illegal crossings (which is safer for the Border Patrol agents, as many drug mules and human traffickers are armed and willing to shoot).

I posted this picture in the other thread as well:

That's an aerostat, flying over Sierra Vista, AZ. It's like a giant balloon, tethered to the ground. It's got cameras and sensors on it to watch the border, and just sort of... floats there. It doesn't actively track people (nor would that be a practical use of the sensor, as you could only track one person at a time). Never harmed anyone (well, except when it deflated, and landed on some guys house, but nobody got injured). In fact, it's more like a giant weather balloon, than anything. While it does watch the border a bit, it's used to monitor the mountain ranges and surrounding area for forest fires, and gives back weather data (temperature and wind speeds). Nothing really exciting.

i had read most of previous threads about the drones . i put mine up as it takes in a whole different are where there are no illegals or drug runners and shows the expanded area for training() . maybe training can be believable . but the question is what is the training really for ?

That's why you need a bunker, so the drones can't find you. Then you have to worry about the radio waves, but tin foil is a solution for that
