Sounds like an oxymoron, but so far it's been a big dud. I'd appreciate it if some locals can point me in the right direction.

I read the visitor's guide, and all they have is information about lettuce and going to the dentist @ Algodones.

Thanks

The nightlife in Yuma is 2 1/2 hours away in the suburb of San Diego or 4 hours away in the suburb of Rocky Point, Mexico.

Mexicali has some friendly senoritas an hour away.

I appreciate all the comments so far.

Yes San Diego/Rocky Point/Mexicali is relatively close, but it'd be nice to have some info on local hangouts that don't require a half tank of gas to get to and from.

You won't find that in Yuma, I'm afraid.

Top of the Kress and The Standard are both downtown lounge/club/bars that are cool. Depending on what you want, a lot of the various bars around town have nightly advertised events. There's things to do in Yuma, you just have to get off the computer and find it.

In summer, yes, it's called "Netflix and A/C". Very popular in Yuma
