Well, not to make too much light of it, but if they are "hiding", it's unlikely anyone on C-D knows they are there. This particular family, as the article notes, has been known to law enforcement for many years due to incidents in other states.

I don't think there's any particular risk of encountering dangerous outlaws in that area.

I was told when I moved here that all the misfits and jerks, who couldn't make it anywhere else, move to Arizona, cause that's where they feel accepted. So maybe they have found their " niche " in Ashfork. LOL

Well the last time I drove through Ash Fork (the flagstone capital of America BTW) all I saw was poor mexican workers mostly living in poverty. I guess even white supremacists need someone to mow the lawn.

BTW that article is like 6 months old. No idea what the outcome was. Sounds pretty cut and dried, felons in possession of weapons.

I've into quite a few white supremacists here in Ash Fork. There seems to be an inordinate amount of them in Juniperwoods Ranch where I live. Arizona Road, where those guys were, is also part of Juniperwoods Ranch.

By the way, that wasn't the first arrest of its kind. Over the past 14-years I can recall of at least two arrests that rounded up white supremacists in Juniperwoods. Both times the people had large stockpiles of explosives (grenades and dynamite).
