Could be star jelly. I'd provide a link, but I'm too new to Win. 8 to know how. Uncle Google has plenty of info, though.

I have had this happen several times. Then a couple weeks ago, I had my had out the car window and I felt what I thought was a bee smack into my hand. It was some kind of bug with wings, I definitely felt the body and wings. When I inspected my hand, it had that clear goop on it. A little bit of yellow liquid, too.
I don't know what it is, but it's definitely some kind of bug.

What's weird about this is someone near and dear to me has been talking about strange clouds/formations in the sky. Most people would not even take a 2nd look as they'd think they're just clouds. But my friend is very intelligent and one of those people who knows a lot about a lot of things and is right about a lot of things 99.9% of the time. He says he's not a conspiracy theorist either -but he thinks that something is being sprayed and quite often. So when I happen upon your question re: the 'goo', first thing I think of is maybe that's what they're spraying.....but that only leads to who's the they in 'that's what they're spraying'? And what is it that they're spraying/what's the 'goo'???

Maybe they are seeding the clouds? Or, maybe it was bug guts and the rest of the bug blew off? Wow, who knows but interesting thread.

Well I have been keeping my eyes open for sure, Been back and forth to Seligman on down to Wikieup and over towards Needles Calif. multiple times over the past couple of weeks. But alas nothing seen :-(
So maybe this behavior is due to something related to the vehicles color? I drive a white service truck with a pipe rack which should be a easy target.

It's bees. I know. You never see the bee. They kind of disintegrate. But that is what it is. I am certain of it. Happens a lot during the spring time.

Same thing happened to me yesterday...driving along on the open road and all of a sudden it was like someone had thrown a hand full of something at my windshield...I assumed it was either bees or another swarming insect.
