Hi everyone,
We want to retire to Payson Arizona however are concerned about so many homes for sale in Chaparral Pines. Is the golf course financially stable? Is the town financially stable? Is the craigin pipeline still on track?
Thank you so much. We really appreciate your feedback.

We looked at Payson a few years back. Major shopping is a long drive and what worried us as retirees more than anything was the lack of medical facilities in the area. And not many doctors there were taking patients under our retirement medical plan that we had. There is an emergency room but it's not much and other than that it's a helicopter ride to Phoenix or Flagstaff.
It's a pretty area but we found we liked the Prescott and Prescott Valley area better in the long run.

The only similarity between Payson and Prescott is the climate. The OP might not like the "big city" of Prescott. ;-)
