Reason the state is so dependent on the federal government is because only 17% of the state is privately owned the other 83% is federal land in Indian Reservation.

I've lived in Arizona for 40 years. Moved here from Wisconsin after another cold sub zero, deep snow winter. This past summer of 2020 was the hottest summer I've ever experienced in Arizona and I'd still rather live here than Wisconsin. Wisconsin is great in the summer but it only lasts 3, maybe 4 months a year.

But I appreciate your gloom and doom assessment. Maybe it will keep some of the crazies from other states from moving here.

Where did you live in Wisconsin ? I'm about 25 miles west of Milwaukee.

Summer sucks and there needs to be more passenger rail and there's no ocean.

The tacos, margaritas and donuts are amazing!
