Finally got some rain & gosh darn, the humidity made my hair curl. Thought that only happened in Minnesota. And here I was just getting used to dry, brittle, lifeless hair.

A terrible place to live. Oh, and did I mention the giant spider?

Tarantula. They won’t hurt you. As desert kids we kept them for pets.

Thanks happy. I'll know not to be so scared & squeamish if I see him or another one again. It was interesting reading when I researched them.

Wait, really? Ha, tarantulas are a sure sign of Monsoon! They are very neat to see and not anything to worry about. Don't be scared, enjoy seeing them. We used to see them every year when Monsoon started. The last couple, we haven't really seen them. I don't know why. Hopefully we will see them again this year.

I sure am glad I asked about the tarantula! There was one in my apartment yesterday & because I knew what it was I gently got it into a dustpan & was able to get it outside where it belongs.

It was smaller than the other one. Wonder if it was one of the big ones babys. Not sure how it got in the house.

What a terrible place where bugs think they can come in whenever they want. And even though I now know they are harmless, I still think they're creepy looking.

How rude! Didn't even bring a bottle of wine to visit with, I bet.

Yes, tarantulas are one of the most misunderstood critters ever to behold! Are they a bit creepy? Well... they're somewhat intimidating at first blush. You're definitely handling Mr or Ms T with TLC, Meo!

No wine. It's forgiven thou because it didn't look old enough to get some.

Colt - when I read that they eat bugs I knew it would find some tasty ones outside & also help me out. Because I don't like bugs.
