Based on what you say you're looking for, I would highly suggest staying away from Coolidge. It's not this quaint little town I think you are searching for. That really does not exist anywhere near Phoenix. Coolidge is very transitory, meaning a lot of snow birds (so half of the year houses sit empty) and people from out of state looking for cheap housing. There is not much there and it is a long, long drive into Gilbert, Chandler, or Queen Creek. I have to imagine the education system there is also terrible, and that's saying something. I wouldn't consider it a great place to raise children.

I'm not really sure why you are looking there. Do you have a job lined up in that area? Looking for cheap housing? If you aren't constrained to that particular area, there are other places in Arizona that might suit your needs/wants.

Coolidge doesn't have a lot going for it, and you will be going to Casa Grande for a majority of things. Its a mixed bag of nice, snowbird hotspot, and not so great. The good about Coolidge (and surrounding such as Florence) is that its heavily populated with LE (COs, Police, Border Patrol, etc). The bad, its a heavily populated prison area. But hey Phoenix Mart is coming.....
