With it nearly certain that Janet Napolitano will leave her role as Governor to become part of Obama's new administration, this will automatically promote Jan Brewer to the Governor's seat. Jan Brewer's office has apparently been investigating a citizen's complaint against the Redflex company ... and reports are that Ms. Brewer is not too happy with the whole photo radar scheme.

So if & when Brewer becomes Governor, that will put Republicans in complete control. Even though I'm not a Republican, I am siding with the party on this issue because most Republicans (at least the NON "neo con" ones) tend to oppose speed cameras. A good share of Democrats tend to favor them. Arizona Republican chairman Randy Pullen has called for the removal of these cameras. With the GOP at the helm, I'm hoping that there will be increased pressure to end this ridiculous radar SCAMera program. If the state is in a serious budget crisis, spending will simply have to be cut from some programs ... pure & simple.

Napolitano ordered the cameras to be installed as a means of increasing revenue ... not as a means of highway safety! As far as I'm concerned, she should have been impeached, or at least severely reprimanded, for ILLEGALLY pushing this through without a vote from the public. All I can do is wish Janet well in D.C. She should fit in quite well there with all the other crooked politicians. Adios, Janet! Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
