I graduate in April and I have a job interview in Mesa, I'm 24, single, I'm into fast cars and looking for a fun place to live with really nice easy going people and warm weather. I live in Provo Utah and I'm sick to my stomach of the people and the cold. I've heard VERY many positive things about that area and my brother lives in Tucson and absolutely loves Arizona. So I'm just wondering about this place as far as people, are they nice? snooty like these jerks in Utah County I live with now, how's the culture? Is ASU a party school with lots of hot women? If anyone can give me some feedback, I'd really appreciate it.

If you're moving to Mesa you will not experience the fun and culture you appear to need. Tempe would be a much better place for you as Mesa is a conservative family town with a pitiful excuse of a downtown (considering it's nearly 500,000 souls). ASU is regarded as a party school compared to UA in Tucson. Be prepared to drive everywhere and pay a high price for your insurance, especially at 24 years of age. Let's see: fast cars + 24 years old = trouble in any town. Your job might be in Mesa, but live in Tempe because you'll spend more of your time there than anywhere else to suit your lifestyle.

Another area to consider would be around Scottsdale and Shea in Scottsdale. Once you have a job and an income, the hangouts there may be more to your liking than the university scene in Tempe. By all means, though, do not live in Mesa - just not the kind of town for a single fun-seeker.

Yeah, I'll consider Tempe, I figured Mesa is full of families since there's alot of Mormons there, thanks for the advice
