Wow - that's a lot to think about. Being able to do dinner after work and make the puck drop is pretty appealing...

So far our list of places to consider includes:
QC
Athem (it was Anthem north but we'll check them both out!)
Goodyear
Surprise

We have seem Gilbert, Chandler and Awatukee, and found the newer communities to be a bit more comforting in that we felt we would not end up buying or renting in a nice subdivision only to find out that we were nieghbors with a not so nice subdivision. We ruled out Scottsdale & surrounding areas for financial reasons, and Phoenix for a mix of both reasons. If anyone thinks we have overlooked somewhere I would love to hear about it. Thanks again to everyone who has given their input and helped us with our journey - we are excited to come and enjoy Arizona!

Where is the best place in Arizona to live for those who have asthma and allergies? I live out in Kansas, and sick of the humidity.

We have had to think about asthma as well as our 3 year old daughter has a very mild form of it, and my husband suffers from allergies. We have heard that asthma may be worse due to the dryness (or no different) and allergies may be better temporarily but that people often develop new allergies (to the dessert allergens vs the ones that they already have). I too would like to hear what others have to say about it...
