The state House has approved a bill that would permit a gun owner to keep a weapon out of sight in a locked vehicle in a parking lot or garage.

Supporters said the bill would serve Arizonans who want to have guns in vehicles for self-defense and recreational purposes

I may not know what I'm talking about but I thought you could already keep a gun in you car out of sight if it was holstered. The biggest problem is not to forget to take it out when you have your car washed or it will be long gone.

There was a discussion thread on this before. The old law was that you could not keep a gun on another person's property if they have banned guns from their property, even in your car. This has obviously changed now.
