Can't take the positive, eh? Man, that anger management works wonders. I love Dolan Springs because:
There ain't no hotel/motel
There ain't no laundro-mat
There ain't no place to buy milk after 8:30 p.m. (2030 for you military-types)
There ain't no fast food joints
There ain't no...(fill in your own positive here)
The scenes are of my own little world...I don't have to go to Dolan
(or anywhere else) to have it all.

Nice pictures. Yes. There is a lot of natural beauty. I love the desert. It's moody.

dian-azWhere are you anyway? My people are out off 23rd. Beautiful sunsets and those joshua's do have character. We used to go atving all around on the trails and washes. I hope things get better for you. What an interesting up and down and all around thread this is.

Goodness. It's nothing but a wide spot in the road from what I can tell off Google maps. What do you expect? It sounds typical of any small town in the country.

I will take Dolan Springs over any "mall infested crowded rat race suburban nightmare" any day of the week. : )
