Can anyone tell me anything about Scanton, AZ. We will be moving from Orwell, VT and thinking of Phoenix, or Scanton. Would appreciate any information, about crime and commute, and etc. Thanks!

Nobody can tell you anything about Scanton, because there is no such place! There is a place called Sacaton just south of Chandler, but unless your part Native American, good luck because it's on a reservation!

Isn't Scanton near Randolph?

Default Miss spelling of Sacaton; thank you for your help

Sorry, about the miss spelling, but you are precise Sacaton, AZ is the place that my daughter would like to volunteer her skills and help for a year or two, before moving on in her life.

Thank you for helping, but I miss spelled Sacaton. Sacaton would be the place my daughter would like for us to go, or by herself. To be honest I am ready to move back to the Bay Area in CA myself; I miss it.

Default Sacaton

I've been on the Indian reservation of Sacaton when I was working as a community health RN. The last time I was there would be late 2002.
It is Pima Indian if I remember correctly...I don't know how big Sacaton is as when I was there, I was seeing the same person.
What would you like to know?
There is not much to Sacaton when you compare it to neighboring Chandler; the people are poor and they live humbly. I think that it is great your daughter is going to volunteer as service to others is a wonderful thing.

Yep. It's a super cool place to visit... however, there is nothing there but the ghost town and some ranches. "Moving to Stanton" would be highly unlikely.
