Which area of AZ are you moving to? If anywhere in the Phoenix/Mesa/Tempe area I would suggest you contact Otto Trucking. The former husband of one of my closest friends operates this company and they also have owner/operators working through them.

You don't say much about what you want in terms of a house but one area where you do see rigs parked outside of houses is Rainbow Valley. It is off Jackrabbit Road west of Phoenix about 7 miles south of the I-10. There are lots of 1-5 acre properties ranging from bad mobiles to nice mobiles to moderate level site-builts out there. I like that place though it may be too rough for you if you seek the sanitized subdivision look.

If you're not needing to stay in close to metro Phoenix, but need easy access to I-40, you might try Chino Valley (lots of homes on 2-acre parcels there). Closer to Phoenix, New River might be an option as long as you can find a place off a decent road.

Default owner/operator parking

Actually I'm looking close to Tempe area. Our daughter graduates high school May 08 and she is also handicapped. We are moving from the sticks to the city mainly for her. She plans to attend ASU and access to city transportation plus the better access to things that a city can bring her is our goal. We want her to have every opportunity to have a life of her own so that's why we are moving. I know it is a year from now but there is a lot to do to be able to leave...like where can you park a rig. We plan on living in an apartment as close to the city as we can get. If we could find lots that are fenced in reasonable close to the apartment that would be okay.
