I have friends who moved from FL to AR to retire. When I inquired they said they ran the $$ numbers AR just made more sense, was less expensive. They had modest beachfront property and were able to sell and buy acreage overlooking pristine Ozark Mountain parkland.

Where is the current retirement hot spot in Florida, east coast, west coast, or the Redneck Riviera?

I know nothing is perfect and what fits one person will not always fit someone else, but with just a few minor complaints, I can't imagine anyone not be happy in Bella Vista, even younger families. Certainly it is a heaven to many of us..Again, there are a few less than perfect things.
