What would you like to know? I've lived here almost 50 years now. Just send me an email and I'll be happy to help. I live in one of the older established neighborhoods and really like it. Everybody comes over to our area to walk, etc. It's fairly a safe neighborhood. Lots of retired folks and families. We do have to lock our cars, gates and keep up things that we don't want stolen. We have low life scum that likes to walk the streets at night sometimes seeing what is left out to steal and sell for a quick buck.

I have relatives who lived there and they have all since moved to other areas of the state and country, with the exception of my aunt and uncle. My aunt and uncle moved there for teaching jobs and they say the schools there are horrible. They have both since retired or found other jobs in the area. My uncle now works for the county jail there LOL. They are contemplating moving to Hot Springs to retire now. The town did pretty good before the paper mills shut down. The town really has no opportunities now and for a small town it is pretty dangerous as far as crime statistics go.

Thanks, not good when the schools are horrible, I feel sorry for the children growing up there, a good education is key to success in life.
