Sounds like OP would be better off staying in Iowa or moving to some other flat state with their winding road phobia. I mean c'mon, really? You're talking about moving to a mountainous region, what do you expect? What are you gonna do, find a relatively flat area and never venture out of it? What's the point of moving to the Ozarks then? There are a lot of places to live cheap in this country without having to worry about winding roads.
