We're waiting for DMV to open so we can transfer titles for our trailer and land. Our potential buyer says that's the only hurdle. Then we'll be off to our new life in Arkansas! Found a few places we love on zillow, been working with realtor also, helping us out tremendously! Very excited, nervous and hopeful to move there. But I can say this. Every time we go up, we're excited. My face brightens up when we start seeing and going through the mountains. This is what we'll need....
Thank goodness you didn't take ill. Good luck with everything.

Congrats, that's such an exciting time. I've been where you are before, moving from SE LA. It's been as wonderful as I imagined and I've never looked back.

Are you going to get tested for the antibody?

Yes, if I can.

When I went to go get tested right after contact(s), yes a few times, the hospital here refused to test me because I didn't have symptoms. I told them I wanted to be proactive, because of where my wife works, our grandchildren....And they didn't want to. So much for that. But that's the hospital here in town. Many times I've let them know about their actions. My wife still refuses to bring me there because, well I called them a whole bunch of quacks and people would die before they were treated.

I went to 2 other places and they refused because I didn't reside in their parishes.

We're still being proactive about it, wherever we go...

There isn't any kind of criteria to get the antibody test like there is with the covid test. A walk in clinic in Harrison is offering the antibody test for free to anyone, no appt needed, results in a day usually. You should call some of your local clinics to see if they have it. I know many just began getting them very recently.

As long as long as we don't go above 100 I am not worried about it.

After several days of hearing (purposely) panic inducing reports of a "SPIKE!-omg!" [/sarcasm] in cases, there has been a modest rise in the number of hospitalizations n AR. The number of people currently in the hospital for Covid-19 has risen into the 80's and looks like it will go into the 90's in the next couple days. Probably time to pump the brakes on wherever these cases are coming from.

A news report said they had traced a lot of them to a neighborhood in NWA, but I haven't found much more info. Not sure how they "traced" them, either, since it is now known that contract tracing doesn't work for this virus. (All of the reports of contact tracing, recently, and in the near future, are just to keep the public amused. It isn't science.)

Will be nice if they get those antibody tests in more locations. I may need to take a trip behind enemy lines, and it would be nice to know if I am vulnerable or not. It would be nice to know there was at least one thing I didn't have to worry about. (Not worried about my own health, but I am regularly around others who can't afford to contract the virus.)

TRex, last week, we had more daily new cases than we had in a while. Some came from another prison that had lots of cases and some from the community. However we also doing 2 and 3x the tests we were previously. The % of positives has remained the same. I wonder how many of the new hospitalizations are coming from prisoners.

I think we are going to have spikes here and there as we reopen, it is expected but as long as it's temporary and quickly identified, I'm not concerned. Honestly, over two months into this, I think everywhere should be reopening or the medicine is becoming worse than the virus so to speak.

We will be watching the governor's daily report this afternoon as it has been a few days since he has reported. With the exception of the one day, high number of new cases it looks like we have pretty much leveled off here. Yes Holly you are right we are going to see some peaks and valleys.

I really do think the panic is worse than the virus. Even some of our freaky family (not really freaky, just different ideas on this) have mellowed a lot and are pretty much back to normal living. Of course they are using caution and are aware of social distancing, but they are no longer in panic mode. Only our Fl daughter still thinks no one, certainly not us, at our age should leave the house and she went into orbit when she learned we were attending church again.

All I know is that the Cracker Barrel dining rooms are open in Arkansas while they're still closed up here. That alone is bringing us down there this week.

I'm kidding......not that I didn't give it serious consideration.
