Glad you weren't seriously hurt.

I'm African-American and I'm old-school. I believe when an officer asks a person for ID or to come over, they are doing their job. I see no reason for resisting or acting as if I don't need to comply.

Other than, I came here because the title sound like it was going to be a Black person vs. White police issue, then I read the words "sitting on a tractor" and I said well, I guess it's not.

On another note, your story is a country song just waiting to be written with additional lyrics stating that you'd only had a few beers before the run-in with your neighbor, the policeman, and a tazer. At any rate, I'm glad things worked out for you.

"Sitting on a tractor" indicates skin color?

No, it indicates culture. The rest was deductive reasoning.

I'm sure OP relayed the entire story, not omitting any facts at all.

Asking a lawyer to sue a governmental organization for free is an indicator of a solid case.

To klassyhk: I DID ID myself and was cooperating until it wasn't reasonable. If you weren't busy "deducting" my ethnicity, you may have comprehended that part as it was in the original post.

So you think I have a solid case? That's encouraging. So, you are a lawyer and you'd do it for free?
