I was at Washington Regional in Fayetteville last weekend, and saw some nice colors there. What a beautiful campus, too! Color was just a bit past peak, but still a glorious blessing for someone up from drab ol' Texas!

Ty, those are beautiful shades of oranges and reds. Any idea what kind of trees those are?

That front view that is shown in the pictures changes so much season to season. The trees will be completely empty of leaves in a couple weeks.

We had lots of Dogwood on our country property and could stand on top of "our" hill, look down and it looked like snow in the lower level. We had a "Dogwood patch" at our house (natural, not planted) and each year one of them (alternating) would have pink blooms. Oh I miss that, and often have dreams about it. In most of my dreams, someone has built houses or cut roads on our 40 acres. I always wake up sad and depressed

Holly: You are around Jasper, right? Reason I ask is because we will be looking for that view AND need the high speed internet you are speaking of. If you are still in the Real Estate gig, we may be interested around this time next year to start looking for spots. You can DM me if needed.

Wow, that sounds so beautiful!

I'm not very good at identifying trees. I can identify a scaly bark hickory, pine, and redbuds only in the spring when the pink blooms stand out against the other bare trees. I do know what a dogwood looks like when it's bloomed so I can only imagine how that must've looked.

Disappointed to see the pictures of nearly half of the Lady Razorback basketball team kneeling in protest during the national anthem.
