In Philippine showbusiness, most of the celebrities are of European ancestry. Although some may be 2nd or 3rd generation Spanish but still quite evident because both Parents are mestizos like these girls :

We had our own version of Elizabeth Taylor in the 50's Amalia Fuentes.
Before, they looked more foreign not like the stars now that they look just mestizos/ mestizas. Probably because before they were more pure ( both parents were Spanish ) , now it is only usually just one parent, usually it's just the father while the mother is more native.
