We get it. You have made your point perfectly clear: Australia is the best and Asia sucks. Multiple times. If you like beating a dead horse that much, maybe discuss it with your Aussie-supremacist group of friends? I'm sure they wouldn't mind. We don't have time for this. #kissbye
I was thinking the same thing.

I LOVE Asian cities. I like the density, the conveniences, the 'freedom' I feel in them, the no need to own a car, and the safety aspects.

Weather absolutely is not a determinant/factor in what level of world class a place is.

Toronto has lousy cold snowy weather but is first world. Dakar Senegal has great sunny and mild year round weather but is very third world.

“Asia” covers everything from Turkey in the west to Japan in the east and Mongolia in the north to Indonesia in the south. A little hard to generalize in this situation.

Just out of curiosity since I have never been to Asia. I keep reading that it is very safe. How come it is so safe compared to many western countries? Has this ever been evaluated?

Density = Filth. Living so close to each other, actually on top of each other, no thanks. Up 20-30 stories...aikes!

Freedom = What? Freedom? Nowhere in Asia is it near enough to the definition of 'freedom'...most governments are totalitarian.

Safety = Myth. A lot of assults go unreported in places like Japan. Hong Kong is basically a triad run city state.

Australia ANY day!

Air conditioners are everywhere, yes - pollutants, electricity...err, not exactly comfortable without them!

In China, for example, you may have some micro-level freedom which you don't have in the west.
Whether they are good or bad is another issue.

In China, it is totally legal and common to leave your child alone at home when you need to see a movie.
It is pretty common to call people fat/skinny and they will not be offended, unless you say it in an aggressive way.
When you hire, it is OK to announce you only want 25-, good looking female from Shanghai, although you may be criticized.

Are you really so ****ing desperate and hungry for validations? Go on buzzfeed and fap to one of those Australia rocks articles then. No one has any interest in your Australian stanning. Please get a life.

Depends on which parts of Asia. Japan is one of the safest:
