Tokyo vs Osaka (Nightlife) (people)

Hey folks!

I am curious about what you guys think about the nightlife between these two Japanese cities, if you have experienced them. I've been to Tokyo and I think the nightlife is WONDERFUL. Its one of my favorite cities to party in.

However....I hear A LOT about Osaka and how fun the night life is. So now I am curious. I've been to Osaka and think its a fun city but never experienced the night life. I always hear how Osaka is more inviting, more fun, more open then Tokyo.

So what say you?

Depends on what you like. I prefer Tokyo, but Osaka is fun as well. My general issue is that the nightlife that I want is moreso in Tokyo than Osaka if that makes any sense. Music, DJs, people, etc. A lot of my Japanese friends also never want to go to Osaka, which I find peculiar. I just got back from a week and a half in Osaka.
