As an aside, I read when his father died, a number of people in their government were killed. Some of them were run over by cars. I guess it was various people in government fighting for power.
If he was still alive we would know it, right? Or is he playing games again?
I don't think he's dead, as the N. Korean government would make a public announcement to prepare for the official period of mourning after only a few days. He's apparently recovering somewhere (they've spoted his train at his seashore villas) and some intelligence sources say that he is issued instructions and orders remotely from this headquarters. S. Korea has alot of connections (spys) into the hermit kingdom, they would know. He's not playing games, he simply doesn't care what the world thinks, only what his people think.
We would only know for sure that he is alive however when he makes a public appearance.
Like magic N. Korea said they had no virus cases. If Kim is close to dying from the virus they will never admit that to the world. They'll create a reason such as the rumor that he died from a botch heart surgery done by a "nervous to be operating on a country leader" surgeon from China.
Various news outlets are reporting that he resurfaced. He appeared at a fertilizer factory reopening.
As far as coronavirus is concerned, NK does have the advantage of very limited entry from abroad. But there are Chinese, Russians, and other nationalities that routinely go into NK for professional reasons. I haven't seen anything about whatever measures NK has in place.

I do agree though that by virtue of her being where she is in that structure, she doesn't have much claim on the benefit of the doubt.
