I watched this documentary and now I'm wondering if Lebanon is capable of surviving. This is simply a sad situation that is getting worse. The country was facing some problems before the explosion in Beirut, but now it seems that is what was needed to make things go further into problems.
I also wonder if Lebanon was to disappear, what country would expand and take its territory? Turkey? Syria? Israel? Would it become a hotbed for nearby terrorist organizations like Isis? What about Hezbollah? The Christians take control of the country again or will it remain in Muslim hands? So many questions and these are only some of them.
It'll become Hezbollahstan, a puppet of Iran. Israel doesn't want it. Syria has it's own headaches and doesn't want more. Doubtful Turkey will go in as Erdogan is more of a talking head than anything else.
send the mullahs to china and the let PLA deal with them.
It won’t happen. Christians have been leaving Lebanon since it was part of the Ottoman Empire. They also tend to have fewer children than Muslim families.
Syria did get kicked out of Lebanon about 15 years ago. There was also the 2006 war with Israel. Without a solid Lebanese government, Hezbollah could make inroads there, which would be very problematic for both Christians in Lebanon as well as Israel.
With Biden ready to restart giving pallets of cash to Iran, and also allowing Europe to do business with the Ayatollah, perhaps the Iranians will throw some of that money towards Lebanon? All they’d have to do to receive that Iranian money is to pledge allegiance to Hezbollah.
A consequence of the US election? The Iranians are pleased, but the region will become much more unstable.
Lebanon will not be annexed. It will possibly go through further islamization and subsequently experience a major exodus/shrinking of its Christian population. Maronites are likely to follow the path of the Assyirians in Iraq and Syria.

Why can't we just send the evangelicals to the middle east and keep them there?
I think people want peace and prosperity in Lebanon, not flame the fire!
its on fire already. It would be a win-win for us. Bible thumpers and jihadists kill each other
