OK so Al Qaeda and ISIS is a fake conspiracy. Got it. Thanks.
I would say you can continue the topic in the P&C forum, but I think the Paranormal Forum is more fitting for you.
It's been admitted to by the US that Al Qaeda was a US creation in Afghanistan during Operation Cyclone. There are legal filings in US courts that attest to the fact as well as the fact that Chechen fighters were assembled to create Nusra Front in Syria and later splintered into a second faction called ISIS which was funded by Qatar. The conspiracy theory that's been rebutted by these facts is that they somehow arose out of a global grass-roots movement and were free of government sponsorship and control. The fact that these groups are mercenaries serving Western and Arab governments in waging war is a historical fact that's been attested to by Zbigniew Brzezinski who was national security advisor under the Carter administration. The brutality of ISIS in the Syrian battlefield also led the US to make accusations that Qatar was responsible for ISIS, instead of the Saudis who bankrolling Nusra and other militias.
You have no facts to rebut anything, just personal prejudices that you're throwing out there to smear governments you don't like.

Operation Cyclone from the 1980s? LOL. You been watching too many strange youtube videos or something man. You are OUT THERE, arguing all over the place, to the moon and back. I am waiting for you to mention the Crusades of the Middle Ages next. I think we can label you as aligning with what the other poster said - happy to see the people of Syria suffering as it gives you ammunition to blame the U.S. for everything.
Listen, instead of focusing on every tenuous link to blame the US for the worlds troubles, why don't you try to help Syria. There are US funds and assistance organizations you can contribute to to help THE PEOPLE, not the government, of Syria: The United States UNICEF fund - goes toward supporting children’s basic needs, including proper medical care, clean water and nutritional food. Save The Children - Save The Children works on the ground across Syria to distribute thousands of food baskets and medical kits to children and their families. Syrian American Medical Society - health care relief agency that works inside Syria and its neighboring countries to treat the sick and injured. Islamic Relief USA - U.S.-based humanitarian organization that seeks to alleviate poverty and suffering in countries including Syria.
Those are amongst the private American organizations helping, but did you know that the US is largest single donor to the humanitarian response in Syria, providing over $12.2 billion in humanitarian assistance for vulnerable individuals inside Syria and those displaced in the region since the start of the crisis? This includes emergency food assistance, shelter, safe drinking water, urgent medical care, humanitarian protection activities, and other urgent relief.
I know that doesn't match your world view. Sorry.

You still haven't rebutted anything, just try to ridicule actual facts. It's very simple to look up each of the points I've made using Wikipedia, Reuters, or other news sources covering the war. Even the Washington Post has published past articles indicating US used Al Qaeda in Iraq as a military psychological operation.
It doesn't establish the US or NATO as a benefactor to Syrian population when such humanitarian organizations the US and NATO have been providing aid to Al Qaeda, ISIS, SDF, and civilians living under their control. The White Helmets 'humanitarian' agency has already been established as being closely associated with Al Nusra Front, Al Qaeda in Syria, or Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (all the same organization). They and other organizations were created and funded before the onset of the war to support the war effort by the US-backed forces in Syria.
The 'humanitarian' organizations created for disinformation purposes are violations of UN resolutions. It's illegal to wage war against another government, occupy its territory with your forces, and then attempt to establish a permanent homestead by providing support services for the illegal occupation.
I don't see any point in your continuing the disinformation posts.

I rebutted just about everything you wrote but you were getting further and further from the topic - Libya, Afghanistan, and so forth, and further and further from credibility with your statement that Al Qaeda and ISIS is a fake conspiracy (sorry, must have missed that article in Wiki). It was turning into some strange "I hate America" manifesto of all the sins, exaggerated and perceived, in the last 50 years.
You need to really find a healthy release to that hatred.
It's been known for sometime that the chemical attacks in Syria were staged by the opposition and US/European governments supplied the rebels with the chemicals. It's come out again on the US news that the attacks were false flags.
The chlorine attacks were made possible by the supply of chlorine by the medical organizations that worked alongside HTS (Al Qaeda in Syria).
Al Qaeda is a mercenary force made up of fighters provided by the various governments who worked with the US in past conflicts in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Georgia, Libya, Iraq, Syria, etc. The US worked with the governments of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, and others to recruits and train these fighters in military schools. The evidence is clear. The US provided training material for these schools under a USAID contract at the University of Nebraska's Center for Afghanistan Studies. Others have been published more recently by private companies, such as Bell Pottinger and Lincoln Group, to produce training and recruitment videos and publications. The wars span a period of nearly 50 years.
ISIS is a spinoff of the Chechen fighters from Nusra. Both Al Qaeda and ISIS still survive in Syria under the protection of their sponsoring governments who've carved out territory for that purpose.
ISIL is often confused with ISIS. Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) Is the successor to Al Qaeda in Iraq which fought from 2004 to 2011 against the Shia government in Baghdad. They took up arms in 2013 after the mass prison breaks, the end of the payments by Baghdad to the Awakening Councils, and the end of SOF agreement with the US.

Didn't you hear the other guy? Jihadist are all a "US conspiracy". LOL
Well, there are people who still think the earth is flat as well so....
In terms of "romanization", if I understand your response. A historical prospective: The levant was "romanized" to a certain extent, but it had a narrow hold. Away from the coast it was the lawless frontier of the Roman Empire between them and the Persian Empire. The land of nomads and desert tribes that have been doing there thing centuries before the rise of the Roman Empire, and even the Persian Empire for that matter. You had that in the west as well, but the "barbarian" tribes in modern day Germany and Spain were hierarchal and somewhat urbanized, and adapted well to Roman culture. Even when they later resisted and finally replaced roman rule they adapted it's practices and, later, the Christian religion of Rome. At that time the eastern Roman empire, ruled from Constantinople, had broken off completely from Rome which further separated the cultures.
Since that regime is now a puppet of Iran and (to some extent) Russia, you would think they would come in to help. Nearby Lebanon however also is having some economic trouble.
That's a very good point, because, despite all the talk of Arab brotherhood, they never do help each other. I think that Palestinians are more or less Jordanians, but Jordan doesn't want to embrace them.
No I don't buy that. There is one, and only one person, to blame - Assad. What caused the GLOBAL (not strictly US) sanctions? It's not political reforms, but human rights reforms. Government behavior in regards to it's human rights record and involvement in terrorism.
The US sanction for one have 6 simple requirements:
End to Syrian and Russian aircraft bombing civilians.
Iranian, Syrian and Russian forces, as well as entities connected to them, no longer restrict humanitarian access to besieged areas and allow for civilians to leave freely.
All political prisoners are released, and the appropriate international human rights organizations are given full access to Syria's prisons and detention facilities.
Bombing of “medical facilities, schools, residential areas, and community gathering places, including markets” by Syrian, Russian, Iranian forces, as well as entities connected to them, ceases.
The possibility for the “safe, voluntary, and dignified return of Syrians displaced by the conflict” is achieved.
Accountability for “perpetrators of war crimes in Syria and justice for victims of war crimes committed by the Assad regime, including by participation in a credible and independent truth and reconciliation process.
Do this and no more sanctions. Is that so tough? Assad and his witch wife stop killing your own citizens, simple as that. The sanctions by the way have exemptions for humanitarian reasons - medical supplies, food, etc.
But I don't think that is the entire reason. Assad and his buddies are war profiteers. They are stealing the citizens of his country blind. They are also spending tons of money, along with Iran, in Proxy wars against Israel, KSA, and Yemen. Supporting Hezbollah and Hamas, and on and on.
I agree. Most of the blame is on Assad.
Assad now has covid, by the way. Unfortunately, he'll probably survive.

If you get rid of Assad, who do you replace him with? A mullah?
THe only problem with Assad is that his allies are putin and mamluk iran.
Assad still wears a suit tie and he speaks english.
Better the devil you know on this one.
