Pretty much. Earlier this year, as I recall, Modi was bragging about how under control they had it, that it was close to being defeated, that India was the envy of the world in how it contained it... Sounds familiar.
Because India does play the field between the Big Three - which imho is a sensible tactic overall - Modi will use whatever is at his disposal to try to get help ASAP.
I actually live in China and feel more privileged than Norwegians at the moment. In the beginning, Norway did not take it seriously and made lots of bad decisions, which I found very frustrating. When they eventually started making better decisions, then Norwegians have to live under constant restrictions that makes life quite boring. Here in China, life is almost back to normal.
