Lone madmen despite the most sophisticated security will always get through driven by sheer hatred and no fear of death. Anywhere anytime. Just check the news. Beware.

The assassin wanted to target church leadership but considered that task too difficult so instead he decided to target a prominent politician associated with the church.
So it's a guy with a grudge. This is weird. It was easier to go after a politician than actual members of the church? That church must have an excellent security force.

This is the article.

The Japanese media are being careful not to name the Unification Church, referring to it only as a religious group.

Universal Peace Federation (UPF)
is an NGO in General Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.

7th Rally of Hope: World leaders spearhead new approaches to peace

Video - Intervention of H.E. Shinzo Abe in the 7th Rally of Hope
12 September 2021
Video
(Good morning) I am Shinzo Abe, former prime minister of Japan.
It is an honor for me to speak together with my good friend former US president Donald Trump at this Rally of Hope hosted by UPF in the presence of heads of state, parliamentarians, and religious leaders from 150 countries, addressing today's problems and engaging in dialogue on how to create a better world.

But according to this link,
Universal Peace Federation (UPF) is a private international organization affiliated with the Unification Church (of South Korea?).

And the late Mr Abe's photos graced their magazine.
Question: with or without his knowledge?

Chinese people drag China into it pretty handily.

a bar / dance club somewhere in China did this to ‘celebrate’ Abe’s death

Another dance club in China: “a good day” on each side of Abe’s photo

I truly appreciate China's ability to effortlessly make themselves even more hated and despised than they already are. They should hold a contest called "who's more disgusting" with their other rapist bff Russia.

I read an early report along that line, as well, although the report I read had not yet identified which 'organization' the man had a grievance against.

I first read it on Yahoo Japan's news.
All others like the one below identify the organization too, but emphasize it as "ancient or old".

Celebrating a man's death is very different from actively participating in the act of killing him.

But of course you do know why some Chinese are celebrating Abe's death since you're so knowledgeable on the Chinese right? Why don't you enlighten us?

Are you embarrassed by your employer's (aka CCP's) stupidity? I know I would be, lol.
