I could only stand to watch and listen to the first few minutes, no one has to ask forgivenes for something that that they're not responsible for. If that is what some religions are teaching they should be ashamed. That stuff in that vid is a crock.

The video as created by The Thinking Atheist. I am so tempted to put this up on my FB wall, but I know I would get so many hate comments. The video reflects the reality I experienced, except that my parents weren't like that. My husband's family has generations of Christians, as described in the piece.

Well, remember that not all Christians believe in the hellfire and brimstone part and not even all of them believe in "original sin."
